This client sought a coastal vibe with pops of color which I accomplished by using a neutral white palette and a balance of intense color.
You will see shiplap paneling used throughout the house, popular with a coastal design style. All of the ceiling designs were uniquely crafted for each space. A glass countertop was raised at the island seating to add an interesting layer representing water. The open kitchen glass backsplash selected in ocean blues and greens created a beautiful focal point from the other rooms in the open design. Decorative lighting fixtures added personality to each room. The master bath featured his and her vanities and his vanity needed to accommodate a wheelchair and was designed beautifully to not look “hospital-like.”
